JMIR Publications does not provide official certificates or letters for peer reviewers or for editors.
For peer reviewers:
Each peer reviewer can obtain this history, independent of intervention by JMIR Publications. The information is retrievable from multiple places:
- The peer reviewer may log in to their user account at JMIR Publications to view their review history. This may be printed off for their own purposes at their convenience.
- Peer reviewers receive acknowledgement emails for each manuscript, acknowledging and thanking the peer reviewer for the review work submitted. These emails are sent to peer reviewers when a reviewed manuscript is accepted or rejected.
- Peer reviewers are also acknowledged by name in the publication history box at the bottom of each published article.
JMIR Publications staff and editors do not write recommendation letters for reviewers for immigration purposes into the US or other countries on the basis of peer reviews completed.
For editors or editorial board members:
Each editorial board member is listed on the editorial board website for the relevant journal on which they have a role. This list can be accessed by visiting the journal page, then navigating to Journal Information > Editorial Board. The complete list of editorial board members can be printed or reproduced as needed at the convenience of the individual.
JMIR Publications staff do not write recommendation letters for editors for immigration purposes into the US or other countries on the basis of editorial activities.
