How do I submit to the Canada Infoway e-collection?

IMPORTANT: Effective Aug 5, 2025 the Canada Infoway-JMIR partnership has been paused pending a program review.

• If your project was funded by Canada Health Infoway and it was written up as a paper with some evaluation component, then the Article Processing Fee may be covered by our partnership with Infoway
• Papers will be published in the Infoway e-collection
• Most of the papers funded by Infoway fit into JMIR Med Inform, although they can also be submitted to other journals
• When submitting, please select the Infoway section. Follow the instructions at How do I submit to a theme issue?
• Submissions must be invited by Canada Health Infoway. Please ensure that your cover letter mentions this approval and provide proof of the invitation. This can be a formal letter or a copy of email correspondence. If you have questions about proof of invitation, please contact ed-support@jmir.org.
• Select the "Canada Health Infoway" section in step 1 of the submission process
• No APF will be charged, we bill Infoway directly.
• Infoway also supports Visual Abstracts (What is a Visual Abstract?), so please check that option when checking out
