My research is funded by NIH and I am required to submit to PubMed / PubMed Central. Is any action required?

If the publishing journal is indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central (PMC), no action is required because we will submit the paper to both PubMed and PMC. This fulfills the open access mandate of the NIH.

If the publishing journal is not currently indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central, please visit NIHMS (PMC Submission system), where you can submit your final accepted author manuscript and/or the published PDF.
