JMIR Publications deeply appreciates the commitment and expertise of our Editorial Board members. The Editorial Board Recognition Program is designed to formally recognize and celebrate their ongoing service and dedication through significant anniversary milestones.
1. Eligibility
All active members of JMIR Publications' Editorial Boards are eligible for recognition.
"Active" status is determined by consistent participation in peer review, editorial decision-making, and promoting the journal development.Eligibility is based on the official start date of the editor's appointment to the Editorial Board.
2. Recognition Milestones
Recognition is granted annually, based on the anniversary of the editor's appointment.
Milestones are celebrated upon completion of each year of service (e.g., 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc.).
3. Recognition Components
Digital Badge: A digital badge representing the editor's position is available for download.
Anniversary Certificate: A digital certificate is issued annually to all eligible Editorial Board members, acknowledging their service milestone.
Long-Service Plaque: Editorial Board members who have completed three (3) or more years of service receive a special physical plaque. This plaque is a tangible symbol of JMIR Publications' deep appreciation for their extended commitment and valuable contributions.
4. Digital Badge Access
A dedicated section on the JMIR Publications website or portal is provided for Editorial Board members to download their digital badges.
New members receive the digital badge along with their welcome package.
5. Program Updates
JMIR Publications reserves the right to modify or terminate this program at any time.
Any changes will be communicated to Editorial Board members through official channels.
