The "Funder" section of the submission form is based on the Crossref Funder Registry This is an open registry of granting organization names and identifiers. By choosing the appropriate funding information from the dropdown menu, this detail will be included in the metadata associated with your paper. This information makes funding data more openly available, providing transparency into scholarly funding and its results for researchers, funders and other readers.
