- when contacting the support desk, please always quote your manuscript ID
- a JMIR manuscript ID has 4 or 5 numerical digits, e.g. 9827 or 10342
- if the manuscript is published, look at the DOI - the manuscript ID is the 4- or 5-digit number at the end of the DOI (see What is a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), and what is the format of the DOI for JMIR Publications articles?).
- For example, if the DOI is 10.2196/preprints.9390 then the manuscript ID is 9390;
- if the DOI is 10.2196/11168 then the manuscript ID is 11168
- if the manuscript was just submitted, either check your email for the confirmation email, or login on the author homepage and check the ID under "Active Submissions" (see screenshot at What is the status of my submission?)
- for rejected submissions, login on the author homepage and check the ID under "Archived Submissions"
