Before sending us an email or filing a support ticket, please search our comprehensive Help Center & Knowledge Base, which contains hundreds of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) from JMIR authors, reviewers, and editors.
If you still need to contact us, our basic information such as our address, email addresses, tax registration numbers, and payment information/bank accounts (please choose the US$ account) can all be found on our Contact Us webpage.
You can also file a support ticket through the green support button visible on the lower right corner of every JMIR page (however, remember to search the Knowledge Base/FAQs first).
Please do not send us spam emails.
If you wish to contact authors of a specific paper, please use their email addresses listed in the respective article.
If you have a substantial comment or critique about a paper, please submit a letter to the editor (see How do I submit a letter to the editor?).
Do not send us requests about the status of a specific manuscript - see What is the status of my submission? instead.
Contact staff (the Publisher, Managing Editor, Editorial Assistants)
A list of contacts is available if you follow the "Contact Us" link on the footer of each journal homepage.
Or click the green Support button ("widget") on all JMIR pages - after searching the Knowledge Base a "Contact Us" link will be revealed which allows you to file a question as a support ticket if you cannot find the answer in the JMIR Help Center & Knowledge Base.
Clicking the "contact us" button in the "Support" widget or clicking the Submit a request in the JMIR Help Center will both open up a form to file a support ticket. The technical, editorial, production or billing department will respond to your ticket.
Contact the Editorial Board Members or the Editor
The identities of Editorial Board members are listed in the "Editorial Board" link on the footer of each journal homepage, but we don't list email addresses. If you have a presubmission inquiry, please submit your inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To communicate with the editor regarding a submitted article, please use the editorial notification link on the manuscript management system as described in the article I would like to send a message to the editor about my paper (already submitted).
For questions that are more suitable for the Editorial Assistant (email@example.com) or Technical Support team (firstname.lastname@example.org), please file a ticket instead of contacting the editor.
For post-acceptance queries, please contact the production staff at email@example.com (Copyediting team) or firstname.lastname@example.org (Production team); please do not contact the academic editor. In case you file a ticket with the wrong team, we'll forward it to the right team for you.
